Product Pricing and Information

Every attempt is made to provide accurate pricing on the website. In the event that human or systems errors occur resulting in inaccurate pricing, Gem Diamond will make a reasonable attempt to accomodate the customer, but reserves the right to withdraw merchandise from sale at any time, including any point in a transaction prior to shipment.

Similarly, our goal is to have complete and accurate information and imaging attached to all our products. In the event that erroroneous descriptions or images appear on our site we will make appropriate corrections promptly upon discovery. We abide by all FTC regulations and We will make prompt refund for any products delivered that contain errors in descriptions that are to the detriment of the customer.

Payments and Payment Processing

We accept all the major credit cards as well as payments by wire transfer. If you choose wire transfer as your payment method, a customer service representative will contact you to provide the necessary banking information.

Please be aware that due to the higher dollar value of our products and the general nature of internet transactions, it is not uncommon for delays to take place in processing payments. In addition, you may be contacted by your credit card company and/or our customer service department for verification of the purchase, prior to authorization.

At the time you place your order, you will be asked to enter your name address and credit card number, expiration date and phone number. The information that you enter must match the information on file with your credit card company.

If you request shipping to an address other than your credit card billing address, please make sure that you have contacted your credit card company to have that address added to your account profile, otherwise the transaction will not authorize.

You will also enter the 3 or 4 digit Credit Verification Code (CVC) which is located at the end of your actual card number. For MasterCard, Visa and Discover cards, the number is 3 digits and can be found on the back of the card on the signature line. For American Express, it is a 4 digit number on the front of the card printed above the embossed credit card number. In order for the transaction to process successfully these numbers must be entered.

An additional protection for cardholders is now available from MasterCard and Visa called Buyer Authentication. It is referred to as SecureCode and Verified by Visa. It is a password for your credit card that only you would know, similar to pin numbers for debit cards, making it almost impossible for someone to make fraudulent purchases with your card. During the transaction you will be given an opportunity to enter your Buyer Authentication code. If you have not yet registered for this extra protection, you will be given an opportunity to do so conveniently. We highly recommend that you take advantage of this free protection which will make your online shopping more secure.

Conflict Diamonds

In 2003 the U.S. government entered into a global agreement known as the Kimberly Process aimed at ensuring that all diamonds entering the U.S. come from legal sources. The U.S. customs service inspects diamonds at ports of entry to verify conformity to these regulations.

Gem Diamond Company is sensitive to this issue and deals only with suppliers who affirm that their diamonds are purchased through legitimate sources.
