Gem Diamond Company has initiated an effort here in Houston,Texas to assist members of the jewelry trade displaced by Hurricane Katrina, and now Hurricane Rita. There are many retail jewelers, manufacturers and wholesalers in our local area and around the country who are interested in providing employment, office space, housing and other kinds of support to victims of these disasters.
