The LMS-Cold Laser is capable of safely inscribing letters, numbers, or custom logos on the girdle of almost any diamond. This technology offers you the opportunity to add identifying information to your diamond, such as the lab certificate number or even a personal message. The inscription is visible under 10X magnification allowing you to verify the identity of your stone with a loupe at any time. The inscription does not alter the gemological grade of the stone. The system is capable of inscribing loose or even mounted stones on almost any exposed girdle surface.

Since adding an inscription will void the 30-day return policy, some customers might prefer to take delivery of the stone for approval purposes, and then return it to us for inscription after confirming the purchase.

Note: Laser inscription is NOT the same thing as laser drilling. Laser drilling is a technique used to improve the apparent clarity of a diamond by creating a tiny channel into the stone to the location of a crystal inclusion in order to vaporize or dissolve the imperfection. Gem Diamond Company prefers not to sell laser drilled diamonds.
